Charles Dickens's Illustrators
This exhibit highlights the many artistic partners of English novelist Charles Dickens. Each of them worked closely with Dickens to bring his characters to life through the illustrations included in the original editions of his novels. Learn more about the life and work of these artists and view many of the items related to each held in the Charles Dickens Collections at Worcester Polytechnic Institutes’ George C. Gordon Library.
Includes selected works from the collections of George C. Gordon Library, Worcester Polytechnic Institute and works from the Daniel and Alice Ryan collection.
